About GR Therapy Collective
A therapy practice and wellness collective in Grand Rapids, Michigan
A Collective Space for Healing
GR Therapy Collective was created to offer a grounded, welcoming space for healing, growth, and meaningful support. Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, our practice offers trauma-informed therapy and wellness services designed to support the whole person — mind, body, and emotional wellbeing.
We believe healing should feel human. Whether you are looking for support with anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, relationship challenges, nervous system regulation, or deeper self-understanding, our goal is to help you find care that feels aligned, supportive, and effective.
What We Help With
Our clinicians and wellness providers support a range of concerns and life experiences, including:
Trauma and nervous system dysregulation
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
Depression and emotional overwhelm
Relationship and attachment patterns
Grief, life transitions, and identity shifts
Healing after difficult or painful experiences
We know that no two people heal in the same way. That is why we aim to offer support that is thoughtful, individualized, and rooted in both compassion and clinical care.
Our Approach to Therapy and Healing
At GR Therapy Collective, we value therapy that is both grounded and personalized. Depending on the clinician and your needs, therapy may include approaches such as EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness, parts work, cognitive-behavioral tools, and other trauma-informed methods.
We believe healing is not only about symptom reduction, it is also about helping people feel more connected to themselves, more regulated in their bodies, and more supported in their day-to-day lives.
Our work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to stay present, and empowered enough to move toward something different.
Meet Our Therapists
Finding the right fit matters. Our collective includes clinicians with different specialties, approaches, and areas of focus so that people can connect with support that feels aligned with what they are looking for.
Anxiety, Depression & OCD
Adults and teens often experience anxiety, depression, OCD, panic attacks, intrusive thoughts, insomnia, or persistent sadness. These challenges can feel overwhelming—but they are highly treatable. GR Therapy Collective is a group practice, and our therapists use a range of evidence‑based and mindfulness‑based approaches to support emotional regulation, reduce distress, and improve daily functioning.
How we help: Our clinicians draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness‑Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Exposure‑informed strategies for OCD, and somatic approaches to help reduce anxiety cycles, address unhelpful thought patterns, and calm the nervous system.
Next step: Request an appointment or find your therapist to start feeling better.
Trauma, PTSD, & Complex Trauma
If you’ve experienced trauma, chronic stress, or attachment wounds, you may feel stuck, disconnected, hyper‑vigilant, or emotionally numb. Trauma lives in both the mind and body. Our collective includes therapists trained in trauma‑informed psychotherapy, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts Work), and somatic trauma approaches.
How we help: Therapy is paced and collaborative, integrating grounding skills, nervous‑system regulation, and body awareness to support healing without overwhelm.
Next step: book a free consultation to connect with a trauma‑informed therapist.
ADHD, Neurodivergence & Executive Functioning
Adults and teens with ADHD, executive‑function challenges, or other neurodivergent traits often feel misunderstood, burned out, or chronically overwhelmed. Our therapists offer affirming, strengths‑based care that supports focus, organization, emotional regulation, and self‑esteem.
How we help: Depending on the clinician, therapy may include CBT, skills‑based coaching, mindfulness practices, and DBT‑informed strategies to support attention, planning, and emotional balance.
Next step: contact us to explore therapy designed for neurodivergent minds.
Burnout, Stress & Life Transitions
Work stress, caregiver fatigue, major life changes, or chronic overwhelm can lead to burnout, irritability, anxiety, and physical symptoms. Our therapists support clients navigating high stress and life transitions through mindfulness‑based, somatic, and skills‑focused therapy.
How we help: We use Mindfulness‑Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), nervous‑system regulation, and boundary‑building strategies to help clients recover energy, clarity, and resilience.
Next step: schedule an appointment to regain balance and sustainability.
EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT & Evidence‑Based Therapies
Many clinicians at GR Therapy Collective offer specialized approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts Work), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT‑informed care), and other evidence‑based treatments. These modalities are commonly used to treat trauma, anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, depression, and grief.
How we help: EMDR can help resolve traumatic memories, CBT and MBCT address unhelpful thinking patterns, and DBT‑informed skills support emotion regulation and distress tolerance. We’ll help match you with a therapist whose training aligns with your needs.
Next step: read about our EMDR & CBT specialists or request an appointment.
Somatic & Nervous‑System-Focused Therapy
Somatic therapy and nervous‑system regulation are foundational to many clinicians within our collective. These body‑based approaches recognize how trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress are stored in the body, not just the mind.
How we help: Depending on the provider, sessions may integrate breathwork, body awareness, gentle movement, mindfulness, and polyvagal‑informed practices alongside traditional talk therapy.
Next step: request an appointment to explore somatic-focused work.
Massage Therapy & Energy Healing
In addition to psychotherapy, GR Therapy Collective is home to licensed massage therapists and energy healing/Reiki practitioners. These services can support nervous‑system regulation, stress reduction, and mind‑body integration. Massage and energy work may be booked independently or alongside counseling, depending on provider availability.
How we help: Therapeutic massage supports physical tension release and relaxation, while Reiki focuses on energetic balance and emotional wellbeing.
Next step: book a session or learn more about our wellness providers.
A Space for Healing, Connection, and Growth
GR Therapy Collective was built to feel different from a cold or clinical experience. We care deeply about creating a space that feels calm, welcoming, and supportive — both for clients seeking therapy and for the broader wellness community that makes up our collective.
Our hope is to offer a space where healing can feel grounded, relational, and real.

About Our Founder
Tracy Frostick, LMSW
Founder & Trauma Therapist
Tracy is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 15 years of experience helping adults and teens heal from trauma, anxiety, and burnout. She is trained in EMDR, IFS, and mindfulness-based approaches and is known for her calming presence, compassion, and ability to help clients reconnect with their inner strength.
Tracy founded GR Therapy Collective out of a dual passion: to expand access to trauma-informed therapy for the community and to create a supportive environment where other therapists could grow their private practices without losing autonomy. Her vision continues to guide the collective as it grows—a place where healing professionals can do their best work, and where clients can feel safe, seen, and deeply supported.
